Pure Roland
All about the Pure Roland-show on RolandRadio
There are an incredible number of music tracks for the Amstrad / Schneider CPC home computer. Many very well known pieces by well-known artists from very popular computer games of the 80s but also hundreds of incredibly detailed and inspiring music pieces from graphic, music and coding demos of the so-called demo scene.
Here at RolandRadio, we play all of this music from our repertoire and try to achieve a balance so that each track is played about the same number of times.
Our radio automation keeps a record of every track played and every day the system creates a new playlist with the tracks that are to be played next in a random way.
We call this random playlist Pure Roland, because it provides the real Amstrad CPC chiptune pleasure.
